Berry Basil Melomel
We stepped up our technique with this mead when Brendan bought a drill attachment for mixing the honey and water together. The fermentation was strong and consistent, and finished faster than the Flosimel mead started a few weeks before.
We added our home-grown basil and frozen blueberries for a semi-sweet mead with a beautiful berry hue and just a hint of je-ne-sais-quois from the basil.
